In Chandler you'll find the Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort. This 1912 hotel was one of Arizona's first golf resorts and one of the oldest hotels still in operation. Famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright oversaw the construction of the Mission-style property. It has hosted plenty important people, yet still seems warm and inviting to all of its guests. Rooms include plush linen, private balconies, cable television and wood furnishing. The legendary 18-hole golf course is seeded with Bermuda green grass, making it an oddity where desert courses are the norm.
