Located in Downtown, the Orpheum Theatre is the most popular performing arts theater in the Valley of the Sun. Grand spaces, Old World charm and ornate décor all make for a magnificent experience.

This historic Phoenix theater has been renovated over a period of 12 years at an expense of $14 million. The 1,400 seat Orpheum audience chamber is gorgeous and has balconies that can seat 302 people. Orpheum Theater is owned and operated by the City of Phoenix, Phoenix Convention Center Department. It is neighbored by other Phoenix attractions such as US Airways Center, Dodge Theatre, Symphony Hall and Herberger Theater Center.

If you prefer to dine before or after the show, you have two choices in the neighborhood. For an elegant dinner try the Venue of Scottsdale (480-945-6475) and if you must have championship hickory-smoked barbecue baby back ribs, go over to the popular Don & Charlie's (480-990-0900).
