When its time to see the Arizona Cardinals in action, head to the University of Phoenix Stadium. It was built at a cost of $455 million and opened in August 2006. University of Phoenix Stadium is rated as one of the 10 "most impressive" sports facilities in the world by Business Week, and is designed to host many types of events.

University of Phoenix Stadium is a popular host of NFL football games, the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and Super Bowl XLII in February 2008. It has a four level seating chart and can accommodate 63,400 fans.

The post modern structure is air conditioned and has a PC controlled retractable roof that uses a bird air fabric which allows light to penetrate creating an open air atmosphere even when the roof is totally shut. The field is a roll-out natural grass field which stays outside so it can get sun and water, the only one of its kind in the United States.
