University of Phoenix Stadium is a popular host of NFL football games, the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and Super Bowl XLII in February 2008. It has a four level seating chart and can accommodate 63,400 fans.

The post modern structure is air conditioned and has a PC controlled retractable roof that uses a bird air fabric which allows light to penetrate creating an open air atmosphere even when the roof is totally shut. The field is a roll-out natural grass field which stays outside so it can get sun and water, the only one of its kind in the United States.
