Glendale Jazz and Blues Festival - Phoenix Hotels .com

The charming Murphy Park in historic downtown Glendale plays host to this music event. Great music coupled with diversified cuisine, arts and crafts displays and wine tasting make for a memorable event.

The festival begins Friday evening from 5 p.m. and fans begin to gather early with their chairs and blankets to catch the rhythms. This event is free to attend and offers ample free parking. You can find free shuttle service to this popular jazz and blues festival.

There are two stages at the festival, one each for jazz and soul. Watch award winners give soul stirring performances. Local icons Big Pete Pearson, Margo Reed, Carvin Jones, and Turning Point can all be found performing here. You will like Carvin Jones bunny hopping across the stage and Margo Reed singing her heart out at this event.

The festival food choices are diversified; have American, Thai or Mexican food or get out of the park to the neighboring Bruno's Pizza or Japan Express for an appeasing meal.
