Since 1971, the Fiesta Bowl was played at the Sun Devil Stadium and after three and a half decades, the game was relocated to University of Phoenix Stadium, a new stadium built for the NFL's Arizona Cardinals in Glendale. This exciting game in the college football Bowl Championship Series draws a huge crowd from far and wide and is a mega multi-million dollar event.

University of Phoenix Stadium is a modern stadium with a retractable roof and field. The four level seating, central air-conditioning and other amenities make it a great spot to watch a game.

Phoenix enjoys sunshine 85 percent of the year. January is much cooler and the evenings are often very chilly. When going for the game, dress in layers and take a coat along. The sun will set at around 5:30 pm and the temperatures inside the stadium may get cooler beyond your expectation.
